When the chart of First Dude’s runners who have earned at least $200,000 was introduced on the right side of this page, there were 17 names listed. On Tuesday, that number reached 30 with the addition of Neigh Dude.

    The 6-year-old gelding bred by Porter Racing Stable scored his ninth victory in a six-furlong test at Parx Racing and the $10,800 check boosted his career total to $200,392. With Andy Hernandez aboard, Neigh Dude was under a strong hold down the backstretch, but when the rider let him run, it became no contest – the gelding ran away late and prevailed by nearly three lengths, clocked in 1:12.72.

    The $2,000 Timonium October yearling has defied the bidders, and is now 9-10-6 in 42 starts.
