First Dude gained his second stakes-placed runner of 2022 when Lady Milagro finished third in the $100,000 Ruthless Stakes at Aqueduct yesterday.

    The 3-year-old filly owned and bred by Dianette Rivas and Amanda Laderer shot to the lead with Eric Cancel in the 7-furlong race and posted fractions of :22.72 and :45.95, opening up by three lengths in the lane. But the speedy pace took its toll in deep stretch and she was passed by two fast-closing fillies nearing the wire.

    Lady Milagro was also third in her first try in January and she now sports a record of 1-1-2 in seven starts. The check for $12,000 raised her earnings to $65,450.
