Like Ol’ Man River, Taino House Just Keeps Rolling Along

At the tender age of 7, Taino House has already run nine times this season, and he appears to be getting better. The Bahamian Squall gelding bred by Don Dizney left Turf Paradise for Emerald Downs, and in his five races there has compiled a record of 3-1-0, including the last two victories in a row.

In his latest, a starter allowance at six furlongs, Taino House broke well with Luis Reyes, stalked the pacesetter in the two path, took over after a quarter in :22.56 and ran off and hid, scoring by four widening lengths. He was clocked in a sizzling 1:09.69 and earned a check for $5,700, raising his career bank account to $76,208 on a record of 8-5-4 in 38 starts.
