Ruda appears to be intent on joining First Dude’s $200,000 club in the near future. 

  The 4-year -old filly bred by Harvey Morris didn’t race at two and three, and has racked up a record of 4-1-1 in 8 starts at four, with earnings of $121,885. Her latest score came yesterday at Monmouth Park in a $57,625 allowance race at 1 1/8 miles on the grass. With Jomar Torres aboard, Ruda went to the lead early and fought off several challenges before turning it on in the stretch and drawing off to score by 3 1/4 lengths. She was clocked in 1:49.80, paid $5.40 and earned a check for $34,500.

    Ruda has now won at Monmouth, Saratoga and Tampa Bay Downs, and in this one, she received an Equibase ‘E’ speed figure of 89, her best ever.
