In his 37-race career, Taino House has won at Ruidoso Downs, Zia Park, Turf Paradise, Rillito, and most recently, twice at Emerald Downs. The latest victory for the 7-year-old gelding by Bahamian Squall came in a race at five furlongs with Luis Reyes in the saddle, No. 7 in his career.

    The gelding bred by Don Dizney was off last, but Reyes rushed him up into a stalking position, swung him four wide into the stretch, and Taino House ran down the leaders and was up at the wire to score by a neck. He was clocked in :57.47, paid $4.94, and earned a check for $5,415, lifting his total to $70,508.
